CPE Powers China High Speed Train
CPE Pacific Electric was established in 1989 by Mr. Gao. Its campus covers an area of 60 acres (240,000 square meters) & workshops of 135,000 square meters.
CPE’s main product line include:
- Transformers - dry and oil type , oil immersed substation traction transformer up to 230kV
- Switchgear/metal-clad/enclosed, vacuum and SF6 type
Among them, 27.5KV GIS products account for more than 60% of the domestic high-speed rail market, and 40.5KV GIS products rank among the top three in the domestic subway market.
In 2020, CPE provided all the transformers and switchgears for 698 km of Beijing–Shenyang 350 km/hour highspeed railway with 10 traction transformers and hundreds of switchgears, while CPE supplied of 1/3 of T&D equipment for 1318 km length, 350km/h Beijing-Shanghai high speed rail substations in 2010.
CPE also delivered the world largest 230KV 240MVA transformer with wound/3D core design, VPI technology.
CPE has 84 national patents. And the wound core traction transformer has obtained Japan, the United States, and European Union patents.
